So what started out as a shitty week sure ended like one but at least it did have some assets.  This week all started going downhill when I lost my phone in the Newark airport and only noticed when we were about to take off and they say please turn off your cell phones (they should warn you sooner maybe I woulda noticed).  Anyway I got back to the dorm and emailed my parents to learn I got a free replacement but it would take about a week to get here…If you are unaware I use my cell phone as an alarm clock…So for the whole week a had to put my dorm phone up on my bed and have my parents call me in the morning because it was the best idea I could think of.  Of course later that day I also learned I got a D on an outline to a final project in a class.  Of course neither of these seemed to major at first as the outline was not worth that much out of the project and hell what difference does it make how I wake up as long as I do.  Of course I was wrong on both accounts.

For the project it is now due for us to present on monday and of course we have not met up to fix anything or do anything about it since we found out the grade (this should be a wonderfully hilarious disaster)  while for the parental alarm clock I never thought about naps.  So now I was stuck getting about 5-6 hours of sleep each night and not getting to take a single nap all through the week.  Of course at one point I emailed my parents and got a nap on thursday but I was so tired at that point that I told them a time that meant I was cutting my math recitation where we took a quiz every time…oops…

Anyway, all that is over now I got my shiny new cell phone and it is pretty pimp and I learned a long time ago to not care about school as much as I should.  Also today I should be getting my new video card (8600 GT) and 1 GB of DDR2 rams YAY.  So my computer should be happy and making “nom” noises for a long time.  Also I finally learned how to peel a hardboiled egg, and they are tasty when you know that, I wish I had learned sooner.

As I said he started during Halloween, I did not get to do a single fun thing the whole day because I was unable to stand up or speak lower then a high G. So for ENGR 126 we have groups that do stuff, there were 3 things the group had to do and one of them was programming, I go hell I will do the programming and you guys do everything else…This was dumb…During Halloween the day before it was due I started doing it and it was hard as fuck. First I just had 1 or 2 issues then I learned I was doing it all wrong and it was a lot harder (I had already done it for 2 hours) so I go to a help session with TAs, only to learn TAs do not go to them…WTF…Anyway I work on it for another 3 hours and finally finish…Now all I had to do was write a flowchart (about 1-2 hours of work) I really wanted to die…So I get called by someone in my group who says they want to help and do the flowchart (BOOYAH) of course this must be where god helps me up and apologizes I was happy, because I had to do an outline for COM 114 due at midnight that would take another 3 hours…But at this point I just said fuck it and handed it in as it was knowing it would get a bad grade.

So the next day comes and I get to the class where all of that is due. The person who said they would do the flowcharts come up to me and goes…”I didn’t really know how to do it can you do it right now?”… ASSHOLE (He is a cool kid but that just sucked) god just dropped me as he was helping me up…What a douche…So I get that done then one of our group members has not shown up for class and it started 5 minutes ago (He did the last 1/3 of the project) eventually one of us realizes he emailed it to us and quickly runs up to hand it in before time is up (we get like 5 mins. before class to do shit). Then the rest of that day was not that bad.

Then up comes friday, booyah drinking and partying time…Not true at all…I found out I need to do something I signed up for and forgot about (I have to lead around 7th-8th graders from 7:30am - 3:30pm) fun fun fun. So of course I know I have to go to bed early as I need to get there at like 6am…But of course to make me feel good I get back my outline on Friday and learn it got a D because my teacher saw through all my tricks to look like I did research when I really did not do shit…I hate having a smart teacher, why can he just not know anything about anything like some other english teachers. Also I realized I had my speech itself due on Monday and all Saturday was taken up by PSD(that thing I signed up for) then work (until 9pm).

Anyway I wake up fucking early as hell on Saturday go to that shit and babysit kids who look really young but when you think about it are creepy they look so little because I felt so grownup at that point. Anyway it was me and a chick taking care of all these young’uns and honestly it felt like parenting, and I learned as a parent I really will not give a shit what my kids do and on occasion will give them advice on how to harm each other better, while the woman (hopefully will be like this woman was) will be intelligent enough to hold good conversation with me and occasionally actually punish (I misspelled that punch about 3 times) the children. So when that was done I go straight to work and go “fuck it I’m gonna call in sick” so I go in and say “yeah I am sick do I need a note or anything?” of course they say yeah go to PUSH (the free student clinic)…So I head there and they close at 4:30 so I can not get in until Monday (will it even still count then???) and when I get back I instead say fuck it and only work on the outline a little before calling to ask for parties…Of course there are none and I go to bed.

Now it is today…Sunday and I need to finish my speech before tomorrow but fuck it I’ll just get a D I do not really give a shit about anything anymore (kinda sucks as this speech is worth a lot more then all the others) I hope god stops kicking me in the balls soon, or at least switches back to the gut like he was doing before…

Also no comic corner this week either, I just watched Death Note the anime all week it was pretty good, to me it was only beaten by Cowboy Bebop (and Darker than Black) but honestly what isn’t?

First of all it was just great to see the family again, almost 2 months without seeing my sisters so even just 2 days with them was quality. Amanda’s apartment she got is pretty cool, regular 2 floors, upstairs being mostly just bedrooms and a bathroom and downstairs having a nice living room/kitchen and even another bedroom, though I am not really sure how that bedroom works, I think it is also an exit as her roommate Stefania left from there once. The first day we pretty much just spent all getting in and then seeing her apartment then heading to the hotel and just going to bed.

Though on Saturday we actually got up pretty early and did a lot of stuff. We started off going to see Cooshear who has gotten pretty fat then went off shopping. I got some pimp new shoes and a really pimp new coat. The coat is actually a sweet leather one you can see me in on facebook that was supposed to cost 250 bucks but instead was marked down to 100 which was about the price of any other winter coat I was thinking about getting so we got it and damn is it sexy.  Then after we finished shopping we headed to the arcade in the same mall.  The arcade was pretty pimp and they had Gauntlet (LOL), we ended up playing DDR as was the plan (though we had hoped it would be the X one not the t one (I’m talking about placement of the buttons here, get on the ball)).  The shopkeep dude there was apparently very impressed with us as he was staring even when we by accident picked beginner and perfected the song, but he looked like he was gonna shit himself when I beat Holic on heavy, it was pretty entertaining.

Then after all that I ended up staying with Amanda and her roommate Stefania for the night which is what most of you probably read about on the forum. At first we were gonna just go off to some random party with Stefania and drink there but Stefania left without us then ended up walking to one that was obscenely far away. At some point before she called us to tell us where she was headed (she called us and very drunkenly said “yeah I’m headed to somewhere, we are walking and umm we are going somewhere”) one of Amanda’s friends Jenny called and asked if she could head over (boyfriend troubles that I am not going into here) so we agreed and decided to just drink the gallon of wine Amanda had at her apartment. Eventually Stefania called back and said where she was (like a 15 minute walk and it was around 40 degrees out) and we just said fuck it we are staying here so she said she would be back eventually.

So anyway Jenny got there and it was some fun times, drinking wine and chilling in general, at some point Jenny commented she had some had a prescription for ambien (a prescription sleep medicine) which apparently with alcohol causes narcotic effects (I just looked it up and upon cursory investigation it says don’t take with alcohol but upon further investigation it says because it will cause addiction and more likely to do stupid/out of character stuff if you do (no real issues)) and I would have to agree. I ended up drinking a lot something like 9-12 cups of wine (honestly I do not remember it so good(sic)) and took 2 ambiens. the ambien is pretty cool, it caused double vision and all around a sleeplike state throughout the whole night. My two best memories are peeing and watching people, when peeing there were like 2 streams of pee and 2 ripples but only one toilet bowl, it was freaky, and people were not always completely double, sometimes it would be just like 2 heads and stuff like that, AWESOME. Anyway at some point we also smoked but it was really odd because I saw it from third person, like floating above it all, though I also felt touching stuff, it was like a dream and just as unclear (I can not even really remember the color of the bong, I think it was orange). Though I also cut my hand pretty bad at one point, I was leaning around in my chair because I got bored and it fell so I braced myself on the table but I had broken a glass earlier while trying to clean it (Stefania had spit wine on it because she was drunk and laughed while drinking) and apparently I hit it with my hand. The weird thing is I think this happened before the smoking but from what I inferred by the order Amanda spoke of things this is inaccurate (this was one of the coolest things, the time distortion, it was just like a dream you know what happened, mostly, but not exactly what order and it seems normal that it is that way). Anyway we all went to bed at some point I remember doing it. But I was completely freaked out when I woke up. First I think “oh damn, I guess I got real bad heartburn from the wine, my chest feels really tight” but when I finally opened my eyes I saw Stefania was asleep head on my chest/stomach and kneeling on the floor, half off the sofa/bed (I got really freaked out by this as I did not remember stuff so well but I did remember she called me cute quite a few times and had fairly recently broken up with her boyfriend. So I thought something that would prove embarrassing had ensued.). Though upon further investigation I noticed we both still had all our clothes on so it seemed unlikely anything had happened and I could safely assume she just passed out in an odd position, still really freaky though. Anyway eventually we all woke up Jenny took her leave I had to pry Stefania off to get up and wait for our parents to arrive in 15-30 minutes or so then we went to church, said our goodbyes and all headed home, it was sad. At least I will get to see them all again in less then a month for thanksgiving.

But anyway yesterday pretty much sucked, first I found out I had not handed in my speech assignment I should have, no real big deal though it was just the speech topic so I’m sure it could not be much off.  Then I try to go to the Engineering guidance office to change to Pharmaceutical science for my major but apparently they do not own anything that can make messages travel from one place to another instantly so I got the honor of walking back and forth between two buildings constantly (the campus is huge so an explanation 2 buildings = 5 minute walk to and 5 minutes back) and in the end being told to come back another day (I had been doing shit for them for over an hour)…assholes…Then I hear the test is apparently bitchin’ hard so I try to study…The website refuses to work…douchebags…So I just say fuck it and go to bed until the test.  So the test raped my ass I am pretty sure I got at max a 50%.  But again I got off lucky apparently everyone else failed it too so the curve should pleasure me greatly.

So anyway the reason I am posting this today instead of yesterday like I told dylan I would is because I just passed out after the test due to feeling like shit (getting raped hurts even if it is just mentally).   Also I am posting here again about Hellgate london, my god I want that game, I’m actually going out as soon as it comes out and buying it masturbating on the box and to the box art and playing it instead of doing homework for the next 3 days.

It started what I thought would suck, waking up early to do a lab involving spectroscopy. But that was not even so bad as our TA (who is from new york) was telling awesome stories. The first was simply as a child whenever visiting his grandma they would go to a golf club nearby and steal all the golfers who were drinking’s balls then sell them back to them at 25 cents a piece and usually make a fair bit of change, like 50 bucks. Then he went on to talk about how one time someone dropped a ticket to a football game and he stepped on it, the person searched for awhile and the TA just stood perfectly still until he left then he picked it up and sold it for 100 bucks. Everyone in the class thought he was such a dick but I was like you are my hero I love you.

Then of course it went on to get even better. In my next class I was falling asleep hardly awake as my math teacher is more monotone and boring then Mr. Herkimer when all of a sudden from the two back corners of the hall two people dressed in football uniforms charged in and ran to the front of the hall, then began converging onto the spot where the teacher was and right in front of him tackled each other then got up and bolted out again. The whole class erupted in hysterical laughter and even the professor fell forward onto his desk laughing, then when it began to quite down he just says “dang, thought I was about to meet my end” and right after that goes back to teaching in a tone that could put a monkey injected with cocaine to sleep, it was some wonderful juxtaposition.

Then later in the day I got Hellgate: London’s demo as you all should now. I pissed myself with joy but didn’t even care that thing was fun as hell. All the diablo, and warcraft references kicked major ass. I kind of liked playing as a blademaster better then as a marksman, but they both rocked and [i]when[/i] I actually get the game I’m going to play it through once with every class. My favorite reference over all would have to be the fact that the shopkeeper was a peasant from Warcraft (or at least I am pretty sure thats what it was, peter back me up on this “Ookay”). Though I have to say I loved the fact that the blademaster also got at level 30 whirlwind, what can I say but booyah? The only issue was the ending was abrupt and refused to even tell you it was over so I felt unsated and sad.

So for the webcomic corner today I will fill in the one sorrow of the day. I got back both my tests today and I’ll have to say the Lavos song was a good warning I got a 50 on both of them.  Granted the 50 on the math one was actually a 52 as one of the questions was graded wrong and they are both likely to be curved (the chem one more then math, apparently a lot of people did really really bad on it).  To make it worse I had work right after I figured all of this out and had to read fortune cookies constantly to amuse me but they were just mocking me with their words “Things will turn for the better”, “Your luck will change” the only one that really cheered me up though “malevolence sometimes for a greater good can be virtuous”.  Anyway now I smell like rotting food and feel that the showers piss and mold smell might be an improvement…

But on another note how are we expected to get clean in showers that have mold and smell like stale urine…That is something I will never understand. As it is I only shower once a week or so because I fear I am smelling worse each time I shower, this is an issue. Also on the topic of my hygiene sucking over here laundry is far more of a bitch then I always thought, I think I feel sorry for my parents now. It really sucks having to carry a huge bin full of something like 12 pairs of pants and 24 shirts along with underwear and socks and all that shit down 3 flights of stairs and then sit there doing nothing for and hour and a half-2 hours. So recently I have not done laundry in something like 3 weeks, I fear my pants will rot as I just leave them on the floor.

I have decided that on this blog from hence onward I will refrain from any usage of contractions, I think it will be quite fun and maybe force me to use phrases outside of regular conversational english.

But apart from all that fun shit I actually had a pretty shitty day in my opinion. Well maybe not all that bad but I did not enjoy it. The first thing that went wrong was I ran out of tissues, and I love those things. Then to make it worse I tried my headphones again thinking their PMS cycle might be over but now they are even more pissy and will not work in the left ear no matter how hard I try, I’m thinking if I give it a week the cycle will be over like with women so until then I am forced to use my ipod headphones for my computer…GAY…

Then I had to put up with the knowing I would have almost no free time in my schedule for the day, and mostly because I had a test and 2 test reviews. The test I knew was going to be horrid, I can handle the math it is pretty simple but I sure as hell can not take tests. The review was not bad but my TA is not the best at math, or english for that matter, so it was fairly hard to learn anything from it…Then walking to the test the most ominous thing ever happened, right as I was approaching the building [i]Lavos theme[/i] started on my ipod and when I got to the door it hit it’s climax, as though it was warning me this will fuck you up the ass. It was really annoying to have that playing over and over in my head while taking the test…
